Larry Moore
Larry Moore, 62, of Washington, died Sunday, June 19, 2022, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a courageous battle with cancer since 2015.
He was born July 2, 1959, in Washington, a son of the late John “Jack” and Norma Jean Rogers Moore.
Larry graduated from Washington High School and attended Lockhaven University. He worked for the Washington Hospital as a painter.
He loved sports, especially wrestling. Larry wrestled for Wash High, making it to “States” in 1977. He came in 4th, earning him a full scholarship to Lockhaven University.
Larry was president of the Independent Club for over 30 years, on the board of the Sons of the Legion, and a member of American Legion Post 175. He loved being around people, especially his family and his dogs.
On June 8, 1991, Larry married Lisa Raffaeli, who survives.
Also surviving are sons, Ryan (Sarah Kornick) Moore, and Mitchell Moore; brother, James (Paula) Moore; sisters, LeaAnn (Brian) Berry, and Sherie (Brian) Ward; aunt and uncles, Linda and Stanley Kreminsky, and William Carroll; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 25, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 26.
