Lance Robert Lindsay, 22, of Prosperity, went home to be with his Lord Monday, February 28, 2022.

He was born in Washington on January 2, 2000, a son of Pastor Timothy L. and Pamela A. Gray Lindsay of Prosperity.

He was a 2018 graduate of West Greene High School. He worked as a stocker at Walmart in Washington. He was a member of Arise Christian Fellowship, Washington.

He loved music and playing the guitar and drums as well as skateboarding. He had two passions in life; the Lord and reading. Lance always had a loving way of helping children.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Timothy L. “T.J” Lindsay, Jr., of Prosperity; two sisters Ashley M. (Darryl) Maurer of Washington, and Brooke A. Lindsay of Prosperity; two nieces, Presley and Brieyl; paternal grandfather, Ronald L. Lindsay of Canonsburg; aunts and uncles, Alan (B.J.) Lindsay, Cindy (Chad) Cushey, Sandy (Tom) Wise, Robert E. (Karen) Gray Jr., Stacie Gray; as well as several cousins.

Deceased are paternal grandmother, Patricia A. Lindsay; maternal grandparents, Robert E. Sr. and Shirley A. Gray; uncles, Edward W. Gray and Scotty L. Gray.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022, in the Arise Christian Fellowship Church, 682 Broad Street, Washington, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022, with Pastor Steven Parkhill officiating.

Interment will follow at Upper Ten Mile Cemetery, Prosperity.
