Gregory Victorick
Gregory Victorick, 89, of Washington, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022, in his home with his loving wife beside him.
He was born March 10, 1932, in Washington, a son of the late Peter and Frances Schinskey Victorick.
Mr. Victorick attended Hayes Grade School, and went on to work for Brockway Glass #2, then went on to help maintain Bethel Presbyterian Church, where he was a member.
He was a handy man who loved sharing the abundance of gardening with his wife. He enjoyed traveling, which included trips to England, France, Alaska and Hawaii. He was witness to the magnificent sight of the Grand Canyon, as well as other, memorable trips.
His gift was doing any task asked of him and he was appreciated by many. He had a zest for life and enjoyed dancing, particularly polkas. He was a member of the Washington Senior Citizens’ Center.
He served his country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He was a member of the Edward Scott Linton American Legion Post 175 in Washington.
On October 12, 1968, he married Laura Donaldson, who survives.
Also surviving are a sister, Theresa Mancuso; and several nieces and nephews, who will miss their uncle.
Deceased are five brothers, Joseph, Thomas, John, Steve and Pete Victorick; and two sisters, Mary Roth and Wanda Bainer.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the hour of services, Friday, in the Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue Washington.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
