Alpha “Bud” Phillips, 73, of Waynesburg, died Saturday, March 5, 2022.

He was born December 22, 1948, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Charles Edwin Phillips and Cora Alberta Fox Phillips Dreitzler.

Bud was a 1968 graduate of Waynesburg Central High School.

He was a heavy equipment operator for Southwest Pennsylvania Water Company, Jefferson, for many years.

Surviving are a son, Shawn Phillips, of Jefferson; two granddaughters, Sabrina Phillips and Page Phillips; a stepgranddaughter, Tabitha Wiggins; a sister, Patty (Bob) Puthuff of Rocky Point, N.C.; and two former spouses, Shelia Renee Harvey and Cynthia Harrison.

Deceased are a brother, William Phillips; and a sister, Malva Pate.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor.
