Stella R. Donley, 73, of Washington, formerly of Bellaire, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022. She was born July 8, 1948, in Bellaire, a daughter of the late Julius and Virginia Newell Klempa.

Mrs. Donley was a graduate of St. John’s Central High School in Bellaire. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, St. James Parish.

Mrs. Donley mentored and helped raise her own children and grandchildren and other children in her neighborhood and community throughout her life. She never met a stranger and would talk to anyone anywhere. Mrs. Donley loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren meant everything to her. She enjoyed nothing more than attending their sporting events and activities. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

On September 14, 1968, she married David G. Donley, who survives. Also surviving are a son, David H. Donley (Amy) of Washington; a daughter, Julie Donley-Peno (Tom) of Washington; a brother, Richard Klempa (Sharon) of Bellaire; and two grandchildren, Asher Donley and Ozzy Peno. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 14, in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor / director, Holly Renay Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director, Park N. Crosier, director. A blessing service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, in the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Lewandowski officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
