Wanda W. Hart

Wanda W. Hart, 83, of Washington, died Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in the Donnell House.
She was born February 6, 1939, in Little Birch, W.Va., a daughter of the late Glen and Beatrice Butler Whytsell.
Wanda was an extremely active member of First United Methodist Church, Washington.
She was a 1957 graduate of South Charleston High School in West Virginia. After high school, she worked for Union Carbide Corporation until she became a full-time mother and wife.
Wanda will be remembered for her passion for helping others.
On June 20, 1964, in South Charleston, W.Va., she married the love of her life, David A. Hart, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Sara (Scott) Small of Cantonsville, Md., and Elizabeth (Kory) Sensky of Powell, Ohio; two sisters, Betty (Thomas) Dunlap of Raleigh, N.C., and Janice (Thomas) Bowen of Salisbury, N.C.; four grandchildren, Evan and Emma Andrews, and Olivia and Luke Sensky; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 18, in the Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, Douglas M. Jones, supervisor, Dr. Lawrence K. Donovan, director. Services will be held at 11 a.m., with an hour of visitation prior, Saturday, March 19, in the First United Methodist Church, 29 College Street, Washington, PA 15301, with the Reverend Kelley Schanely officiating. All other services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to First United Methodist Church, at the address above.
