Howard K. Briggs Jr., 74, of McDonald, passed on Saturday, March 26, 2022.
He was born December 23, 1947, in Washington, a son of Howard K. Sr., and Etta Louise McFalls Briggs.
Howard was a graduate of West Allegheny High School. He was a Vietnam War veteran where he served in the United States Army.
Mr. Briggs was employed by Joy Dog Food in Oakdale for 38 years, where he retired in 2002.
Howard enjoyed square dancing, country music, and watching sports on television.
Surviving is a daughter, Missy Kietz; a step-son, Michael (Tammy) Pensis of McDonald; two sisters, Sarah McCloud of Burgettstown, and Donna Ketchel of Aliquippa; two brothers, Ernest and Earl Briggs of Washington; two grandchildren, Jennifer Frye and Michael “Mikey” Pensis, and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a step-mother, Lewanda Nice.
Howard’s family would like to thank his caregivers, Liberty Dialysis and Tammy Cook.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA. 15057.
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn and Gardens McMurray.
