Eric J. Forrester
Eric James Forrester passed unexpectedly, on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
He was born on June 14, 1995, a son of Heidi L. (Steve Willem) Castner Forrester, of Atlasburg, and Joseph L. Forrester, Jr. of Carnegie.
Eric was a graduate of South Fayette High School, class of 2013. He worked for Amazon, in the outbound shipping department, in Imperial.
Eric was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and shooting with his father at the family farm in Hickory. He loved to fish at Canonsburg Lake, Raccoon Lake, and ponds in the game lands. Eric also had a love for classic cars. He and his dad had plans to restore a 1979 Camaro. Eric was also skilled in woodworking and often made small gifts for family members.
Eric loved his pets, especially his late pal “Lucky”. Eric was softspoken, yet quick witted, with an unmatched sense of humor. He will always be dearly loved and greatly missed.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are maternal grandparents, Robert (Penny) Foley of Bulger, Patricia Castner of Wind Ridge; and step-grandfather, John Petrus, III. of Carmichaels; paternal grandparents, Susan and Joseph Forrester Sr. of Oakdale; maternal great-grandparents, Putnam and Betty Foley of Bulger; a sister, Katrina (Matthew) Leger of Canonsburg; two aunts, Glenda (Brian) Semerod and Mary (Ron) Burge; three uncles, Robert (Kelly) Forrester, Mark (Melissa) Castner and Bob Foley; and many cousins.
Deceased is a beloved aunt, Angela Forrester.
A Memorial gathering will take place from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the time of services, on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA 15057.
