Nancy Culley Dias
Nancy Culley Dias, 90, a lifelong resident of Langeloth, passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, November 2, 2022, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 7, 1931, in Langeloth, a daughter of the late Alden and Vera Davis Culley.
A graduate of Union High School in Burgettstown, she worked for Bobby Brooks in Washington for 17 years and All American in Langeloth for 13 years before retirement.
Mrs. Dias was a lifelong and faithful member of the Langeloth Church of Christ. She was also active with the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), the Langeloth Board of Elections and the Burgettstown Area Senior Citizens Association. She enjoyed knitting, crafts and watching her grandchildren.
Her husband, William A. “Bill” Dias, whom she married September 20, 1952, passed away September 22, 2014.
Surviving are her children, James W. Dias of Omaha, Nebr., Tammy Dias of Weirton, W.Va., and Marcie Krovak of Slippery Rock; grandchildren, Michelle Jones (Larry), Michael Bockstoce, Christopher Bockstoce, Myra Kuhn, Joey Kuhn, Robert Cook (Becky), Forrest Cook (Stephanie), Victoria Delcourte (Shawn), Scott Hill and Joshua Krovak; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jackie Eakin (the late Don) of Avella, and Jerry Star of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are her daughter, Cathie Bockstoce and her husband, Jerry; a sister, Audrey Jordan; and a brother, Tom Culley.
Family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, November 6, in the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 7. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory concluding the services on Monday.
