Marsha M. Muscaro
Marsha M. Muscaro, 71, of Burgettstown, formerly of Cross Creek, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022,in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, with her son and daughter-in-law by her side.
She was born on August 27, 1951,in Washington Hospital, daughter of the late Eugene Lane and Eleanor May Gordon Taggart.
Marsha was a 1969 graduate of Avella High School and worked as a Postmaster for the United States Postal Service for over 30 years, in Avella, Atlasburg and finally in Bulger, where she retired in 2011.
Marsha was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Burgettstown.
She was an avid poker player and also enjoyed reading and painting. Marsha adored her beloved granddaughter, Gianna; she cherished all of the time they spent together, including their trips into Pittsburgh for Pirate games.
On May 15, 1970, in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, she married Stanley Paul Muscaro, who passed away on September 21, 2016.
Surviving is a son, Stanley Paul (Jennifer) Muscaro Jr. of Atlasburg; a granddaughter, Gianna Muscaro; four brothers-in-law, Joe (Betty) Muscaro of Florida, Jim (Gail) Muscaro of Virginia, John (Patti) Muscaro of Florida and Sam Muscaro of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her husband and parents, is an infant daughter, Tammi Muscaro.
Because Marsha was an animal lover and enjoyed watching her granddaughter play sports; memorial contributions can be made to Washington Area Humane Society, PO Box 66, Eighty-Four, PA 15330, or Burgettstown Area School District Athletics Fund, in care of Jamie O’Donnell, 100 Bavington Road, Burgettstown, PA 15021
