Charles Lindley Kleinhans
Charles Lindley Kleinhans, 84, of Prosperity, died Sunday, November 6, 2022, in his home.
He was born May 21, 1938, in Clairton, a son of the late Lindley and Laverne Henderson Kleinhans.
A graduate of Clairton High School, Charles worked as a small engine mechanic for many years. His hobbies included trapping animals and coin collecting.
Mr. Kleinhans served in the Army Reserves.
On June 29, 1963, Charles married Clara Kleinhans, who died April 14, 2022.
Also surviving are three sons, Charles (Sherri) Kleinhans of Prosperity, Tim (Mary Jo) Kleinhans of West Alexander, and Brandon (Amanda) Kleinhans of Prosperity; a daughter, Cathy Kleinhans of Prosperity; 10 grandchildren, Allison (William) Foster, Sarah (Connor) Fritz, Rachel Kleinhans, Hunter Kleinhans, Caleb Kleinhans, Alicia (Matt) Loar, Ashley (Jason) Kusniez, Jacob Loar, Jeremiah Loar and Joshua Loar; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol Michele of Louisiana; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Charles in death were his daughter, Christina Kleinhans; and grandchild, Chase Kleinhans.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 10, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. The service will be at 12 p.m. Friday, November 11.
Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
