Jack T. Daniels, 85, of Ellsworth, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022, in Southmont Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington.

He was born December 12, 1936, in Elm Grove, W.Va., a son of the late Silas T. and Leona K. Hanson Daniels.

Mr. Daniels was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Jack was employed as a bus driver with the Bentworth School District for 30 years.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bentleyville for over 50 years and a former member of the Ellsworth Borough Council.

Jack was not only an avid guitar player but was also a guitar collector.

On August 10, 1972, he married Phyllis Smaroff Daniels, who died December 19, 2020.

Surviving are two children, Deb Yakubik (Ron) of Fredericktown, and Melissa Ruffing (Jason) of Bentleyville; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be private, with the Rev. Andy Scott officiating. Interment will be in Westland Cemetery.
