Betty Jane Kriznik

Betty Jane Kriznik, 91, of Slovan, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, October 2, 2022.

She was born May 29, 1931, in Washington, a daughter of the late John and Beatrice Venner.

Mrs. Kriznik enjoyed her dogs, flowers, baking, and most of all being with her family and grandchildren .

She is survived by her daughter, Michele Kriznik (Terry DuBois) of Imperial; her daughter-in-law, Cathy Kriznik of Washington; son-in-law, James Trimarki of Burgettstown; grandchildren, Brandon Kriznik (Chris), Courtney Caldwell (Steve), Kyle Trimarki (Missy McKitrick), Jena Trimarki Schiff (Matt), Jeremy Charlier (Jessica), Joshua M. Charlier (Erin), and Erik Haspel (Ashley Mancinelli); great-grandchildren, Jake and Ethan Maltony, Parker, Paisley and Payton Caldwell, Maverick, Gage and Decker Schiff, Carter Charlier, Emma and Diana Charlier, and Logan and Hunter Haspel; a brother, Ralph Venner of Alaska; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Walter Kriznik, who passed away in 1995; her son, Walter “Wally” Kriznik; and her twin daughters, Debra Ann Trimarki and Diana Lynn Charlier; a brother, James Venner; and a sister, Ruth Venner.

Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., the time of services, Saturday, October 8, in the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.

Because of Mrs. Kriznik’s love of animals, memorial donations may be made, in her memory, to a humane society of the donor’s choice.
