Robert Lance Price, 74, died peacefully Monday, October 3, 2022, in his home in Waynesburg, after a long battle with cancer. He was born September 4, 1948, in Sharon, a son of the late Alice Evans Mook and Douglas Price Sr. He spent most of his life in Sharon.

Robert, known as Bob, was a veteran, outdoorsman, and a Steelers fan. He was a storyteller who enjoyed spending time with people and making them laugh. As a Christian, he was grateful to His Lord for His mercy and love. His greatest joy was his family.

He is survived by his son, Michael Price of Harrisburg, N.C., and grandson, Maverick Price; as well as his daughter, Cari (Michael) Baily of Waynesburg; and grandchildren, Jonathan (Hannah), Rachel, Mark, Sarah, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Daniel, Jessica, Luke and Allison Baily.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Friday, October 7, in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, with the Rev. Larry Douglas officiating. Interment will be private.
