Ronald Ray Shipley
Ronald Ray “Bud” Shipley, 81, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022, in his son’s residence in Warner Robins, Ga. Services celebrating his life will be held later at his hometown in Pennsylvania.
Ronald was born February 6, 1941, in Jefferson, to the late Fred and Mary Sterner Shipley.
Ronald retired from Fox Ford of Waynesburg, where he was a mechanic for over 30 years. He live most of his life in Clarksville, where in his spare time he enjoyed playing the harmonica, strumming the guitar, cheering on the Pittsburg Steelers and visiting his friends at the garage. Bud also cherished his trips to Virginia, where he enjoyed fishing and making memories with friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Kahlbaugh Shipley; and his siblings, Fred Shipley, Sandy Kahlbaugh, Elda Bevans, and Cathy Shipley.
Left to cherish his memory are his five children, Ronald Ray Shipley, Jr. (Chris Bailey) of Waynesburg, Mary Shipley (Michael Myers) of Clarksville, James Shipley (Chandler) of Warner Robins, Lesley Shipley of Waynesburg, and Richard Shipley (Kitty) of Bobtown; 11 grandchildren, Jeremy, Tyra, Hailey, Kehl, Danyelle, James, Lisa, Lesley, Jovi, Grace and Palmer; five great-grandchildren, Talon, Troy, Adrian, Addison and Connor; siblings, Donald Shipley (Janet), Patty Simons, Geraldine Bender, Jerry Shipley (Connie), Tammy Shipley and Mark Shipley.
