Charles T. Kraushaar, 78, of Muse, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in TownView Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg with his family by his side.

He was born August 12, 1944, in Canonsburg a son of the late Robert H and Sarah Belle McCahill Kraushaar.

He was raised Roman Catholic and had attended Holy Rosary Church in Muse. A proud veteran, he served with the United States Army in Germany, receiving an honorable discharge.

Chuck was a graduate of Canon-McMillan Sr. High School and attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where he studied photography. He had been employed with Anderson Equipment Co in Bridgeville and was in patient care at Western Center for many years. Chuck enjoyed attending area establishments such as the French Club, PNU and White Eagles Society visiting with friends.

On June 21, 2010, he married Gina Laskody who survives. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved daughter, Samantha Sziminski and her husband Joe of Bulger, two grandchildren, Jocelyn Kate and Jake Sziminski, his two brothers, Robert W. Kraushaar of Canonsburg and Francis J “Red Dog” Kraushaar of Muse, his mother-In-Law Betty Jane Laskody of Canonsburg and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are welcome from 1 p.m to 3 p.m. Saturday October 29, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P.
