John A. Marconi
John A. Marconi, 80, of Washington, died Sunday, August 28, 2022, in the Donnell House.
He was born June 7, 1942, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Patrick and Marcella Oprosky.
John worked as a psychiatric aide at Mayview State Hospital.
He was a member of the Edwin Scott Linton Post #175 of the American Legion.
John served in the United States Army.
On April 7, 1973, he married the love of his life, Diana L. Kilgore, who died April 25, 2006.
He is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Mock of Washington; a granddaughter, Harley Mock; and his beloved dog, Coco.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 8, at Washington Cemetery, where full military honors will be afforded by Edwin Scott Linton Post #175 of the American Legion, as well as the United States Army.
Those wishing to attend, please meet at Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, by 9:30 a.m. to proceed to the cemetery.
