Sharon Langer Nee
Sharon Langer Nee, 65, of Peters Township, formerly of Brookline, peacefully passed away in her home on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, after a very short illness.
Beloved wife of 41 years to Dr. Martin P. Nee Jr. She was born on April 5, 1957, and is the daughter of the late Edward and Mildred Langer. Loving mother of Coleman Nee and Meghan (Jonathon) Lucsko; sister of Lawrence (Karen Hyra) Langer; grandma to her adored grand-cats Omar and Charli.
Sharon graduated with honors from Mercy School of Nursing in 1978. She worked many years caring for others as a Registered Nurse in the open-heart unit, a Certified RN Administrative Coordinator, and a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant.
Sharon was a loving and supportive wife and mother to not only her own children, who proved to be quite the handful, but to their friends as well. Sharon was known for her compassion, strength, intelligence, and fierce independence.
Her memory will be kept alive and cherished by her family, friends and neighbors, whom she lovingly considered family. Sharon has proved that life may be shorter than expected.
In her memory, we ask that you take a moment to admire the little things such as the first snowfall of the year, a good steak or a beautiful hibiscus flower.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
