Sharon Lee Lucero Frank
Sharon Lee Lucero Frank, 76, of Washington, died Thursday, September 8, 2022, in Presbyterian Hospital, UPMC, following a brief illness.
She was born April 21, 1946, in Washington, to the late Louis and Beulah Lucero, and was the big sister to her beloved brother, Kenny.
She was the loving wife to Kenneth Frank, who predeceased her.
In addition to Kenny and his wife, Susie, she is survived by her nieces, Melissa Bochter (Robert), and their sons, Ayden and Jordan, and Tiffany Lucero and her children, Ellana, Ethan and Emiliah, and Chrissy Logan (Adam) and her daughter, Gabby.
Sharon had a long accounting career in Washington at a law firm, and various manufacturing and building supply companies, and then began volunteer work while in Tucson, Ariz.
Sharon loved homemade Italian food, her garlic green beans, romance novels, Diana Ross and the Supremes, caring for her dogs, plants and flowers, saguaro cacti, candles, collecting t-shirts and Native American sculptures, feeding her birds, and telling other people what to do. She was known as the family historian, who could recall the smallest details of family events, conversations, and relationships.
But she loved her family most of all. She gave unconditional love to her mother, father and brother, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and her nieces and their families. She was a constant presence in the lives of her family, and always ready to help others. She will be greeted in heaven by all she loved who passed before her, and sorely missed by those who remain.
A private gathering is being planned by the family for a future date.
Memorial contributions can be made to Angel Ridge Animal Rescue, 390 Old Hickory Ridge Road, Meadowlands, PA 15347.
