James M. Hagyari

James M. “Jimbob” Hagyari, 65 of Fredericktown, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 in Jefferson Hospital.

He was born in Waynesburg, a son of the late Edward and Flora Abbadini Hagyari Sr.

Mr. Hagyari was a 1974 graduate of Beth Center High School.

He had been employed as an electrician and maintenance supervisor at the former Hillman Barge, Brownsville Marine and currently Heartland Fabrication for 30 years.

James was a member of the Owls Club and the Sons of the American Legion #391 both in Fredericktown.

His hobbies included vegetable gardening, hunting, fishing, and spending time at Camp Hawkeye in Wharton, PA Potter County. He especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren.

On August 30, 1980 he married Bonnie Cox Hagyari, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter Jamie Wilson (Ralph) of Waynesburg; two grandchildren, Katey and Keara Rhodes; three brothers, Tom Hagyari (Jeanette) of Warren, OH, Larry Hagyari (Linda) of Jefferson, and Ed Hagyari (Natalie) of Centerville Borough; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Greenlee’s Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd., 42 Bank St. at Crawford Rd. Fredericktown, PA where Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Arnel Tadeo and Pastor John Thomas officiating.
