George C. Grimes
George C. Grimes, 76, of Murfreesboro, N.C., passed away peacefully Thursday, September 15, 2022, in his sleep in his home.
George was born June 29, 1946, to the late George R. Grimes and Mary E. Grimes, both of Washington County.
George was an alumni of Waynesburg College and the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in mechanical engineering.
George worked in North Carolina until his retirement.
He is survived by his loving sister, Beverly Grimes Creps and husband Bob; and his wife and a stepdaughter.
In lieu of flowers, etc., the family asks that donations be made directly to the American Cancer Society.
