Jeffrey A. Cline, 63, of Avella, passed away peacefully, in his home alongside his wife, Deborah, Wednesday, March 29, 2023, after a courageous seven-year battle with lung cancer.

He was born May 17, 1959, in Washington, a son of the late James V. Cline Sr. and Eileen White Cline.

He graduated from Avella High School. After graduating, he worked as a heavy equipment operator at Paris Construction.

On June 20, 2017, he married the love of his life, Deborah A. Mendez Cline.

Jeffrey enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Steelers, sitting under his apple tree, cooking, and drinking crown with his friends and family.

Jeffrey was a part of the Avella American Legion (he was the son of a Legioneer), the Slovan Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Avella Polar Star, and the Slovan Polish Club. He was a loving, kind, and wonderful person loved by all and will truly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah A. Mendez Cline; his son, Justin T. Budash; brother, James V. “Victor” Cline Jr.; beloved “Unk” Ron Cline Sr.; beloved aunt, Pat Bongiorni; his neighbor, Barry Clouston; many cousins, aunts and uncles; and his beloved cat, “Puta”.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 2, in Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown, PA 15021, 724-947-2049.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 3, in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Gardens, 3739 Washington Road, Canonsburg, PA 15317.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Donell House, 10 Leet Street, Washington, PA 15301.
