Antonio Fortunato, 85, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in Washington Hospital. He was born June 13, 1937, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Frank and Matilda Rattina Fortunato.

Mr. Fortunato lived his life in Canonsburg and had been Roman Catholic.

Prior to his retirement he had been employed at the former Pennsylvania Transformer and Cooper Industries for many years.

Tony was a happy-go-lucky man, who enjoyed life and making people laugh. He loved all sports.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his five children, Lorraine (Ron) Bowser of Buchanan, W.Va., Toni Ann Anesetti (Derek Arent) of Houston, Christine (Dana) Scarff of Houston, Jamie (Abby) Lemon of Muse, Anthony Fortunato of Canonsburg; his sister, Margaret Alderson of Canonsburg; his grandchildren, Troy (Jessica) Kisko and Chantel (Zach) Pritts; a great-grandson, Greyson Kisko; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his granddaughter, Shannon Anesetti; three brothers, Al, Dominic and Frank Fortunato; and his former wife, Shirley Fortunato.

Private family services and interment, in Oak Spring Cemetery, have been entrusted into the care of Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120.
