Marion Louise Sherburne
Marion Louise Sherburne, 92, of Prosperity, died Friday, August 11, 2023, in the Peters Township Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born October 9, 1930, in Richmond County, New York, the daughter of the late Dwight and Lucia Hopkins Salter.
Marion graduated from McKee High School in New York and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Upper Ten Mile Presbyterian Church. She loved bowling and was formerly in a senior bowling league. She enjoyed gardening and taking trips, especially with her church mission group.
On May 6, 1950, Marion married John Leonard Sherburne, who died February 19, 2008.
Surviving are her sons, Robert Sherburne, William Sherburne (Kathryn Harris), and Richard Sherburne; grandchildren: Brian Sherburne, Scott Sherburne and Caitlyn Harris; and several great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her siblings, David Salter and Charlotte Lucas.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date at Upper Ten Mile Presbyterian Church.
