Donna Lee Neil
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Donna Lee Neil, 71, of North Strabane, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
She was born April 3, 1952, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Ray and Helen Reich Cuthbert.
Beloved wife of 52 years to Paul, loving mother to her son Craig and his wife Janice; and her daughter Lisa and her husband Brian; cherished Nan to her grandson Logan; dear sister of Cindy and her husband Charlie and Joann Sayre; dear sister-in-law to Alan and his wife Terri; and Sherri and her husband James; and many nieces and nephews. She was a loving mother to her adopted children, Fair and Hamlet and the late Nipper Neil, Shadow, Cinnamon, Angel, Gomer, Scruffy, Scooter, Gizmo, Friday and Bandi Girl.
Donna graduated from Bethel Park High School, and was a long-time member of Ruthfred Lutheran Church in Bethel Park, PA.
She started out working at Kaufmann’s South Hills Tic Tok Restaurant and went on to dedicate her life to taking care of her children and others. She was an amazing, kind, and generous woman who was always there when anyone needed her. She loved animals, especially rescue dogs, all things Disney, Target and Hobby Lobby runs, the occasional trip to a Casino and watching and attending the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins games. Donna also enjoyed her yearly Nascar trips with friends and family, but her greatest joy was being a wife, mother and grandmother. To say that her family and friends will miss her is an understatement, but how lucky are we to have had someone so wonderful in our lives to make saying goodbye so hard.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, August 19th, at 11 a.m. in Ruthfred Lutheran Church in Bethel Park with a luncheon to follow.
