William Joseph Miller
William Joseph Miller, 95, of Claysville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 23, 2023. He was born January 27, 1928, in Sturgeon, a son of the late John J. and Gladys J. Cole Miller.
Mr. Miller was a graduate of Oakdale High School.
He served in the United States Army from 1950 until 1952, at which time he was honorably discharged.
Mr. Miller was employed for many years as an engineer at Bell Atlantic from where he retired.
He enjoyed living on his farm and taking care of his animals. Mr. Miller will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
On November 20, 1987, he married Lynn Marie Morley, who survives.
Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Phyllis Miller of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald J. Miller and John J. Miller; and a sister, Delores J. Miller.
