Sandra Kay Clymer Gray
Sandra Kay Clymer Gray, 79, of Damascus, Md., passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, in her home.
She was born March 18, 1944, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Marjorie and Donald Clymer.
Sandra was a 1963 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School, a 1967 graduate of California State, and received her master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to her retirement, she worked as an elementary school teacher for two years in Pennsylvania, and for 29 years in Maryland.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, James Gray; her son, David (Cathie) Gray of Lindsey, Ontario, Canada; sister, Wanda (Al) Cario of Canonsburg; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Lynda Clymer.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 27, in Sollon Funeral & Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 28, in the funeral home, followed by interment in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
