Tyler J. Smith
Tyler J. Smith, 24 of Roscoe, passed away tragically in an automobile accident Sunday, August 27, 2023.
He was born November 17, 1998 in Uniontown, a son of John Smith (Sharon) of Fredericktown, and Tina Lombardo (A.J.) of Mather, who survive.
Tyler was 2017 graduate of Beth-Center High School and was a member of the soccer team and marching band. He was currently employed at SCI Fayette and had been previously employed at Model Uniform Services in Charleroi.
He was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post# 816.
Tyler enjoyed remote control cars, video games, and spending time with friends and family. A fan of professional soccer, he followed the Manchester City soccer team.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, John Smith Jr. (Jessica) and their son Carson of California; two sisters, Charlie Lombardo and Toni Lombardo both of Mather,; a step-sister, Shania Gullickson, of Alexandria, Minn.; grandmother, Joyce Nopwaskey of Crucible; a great-grandmother, Stella Wegner of Suprise, AZ; several aunts and uncles; his best friend Nick Harvey.
Deceased are grandparents William Nopwaskey, Roger Smith, and Josephine Smith.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 1, in the Greenlee’s Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd., 42 Bank St. at Crawford Rd. Fredericktown, PA.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Autism Society or the Beth Center High School Band.
A memorial luncheon will be held for family and friends Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. in the Jefferson Fire Hall, Jefferson.
