Rebecca J. Sprowls
Rebecca J. “Becky” Sprowls, of Washington, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023.
Becky was born March 11, 1943, in Claysville, the only child of the late Harry D. Walker and the late Geraldine C. Harsha.
On November 8, 1957, she married Kenneth L. Sprowls, who passed away April 6, 2016. They shared 58 wonderful years together.
Her youngest son, Michael J. Sprowls, passed away July 24, 2022.
Becky is survived by her children, Keith D. (Ginger) Sprowls of Point, Texas, Jeffery S. Sprowls of Washington, Paula L. Striner of Stow, Ohio; and her two beloved grandchildren, Andrew Evan Striner and Abigail Rose Striner, of Stow.
Becky is also survived by her special friend, Dale E. Mahan.
Becky retired in 2015 after 25 years with DVSSP, formerly Washington Women’s Shelter, Inc.
Becky enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, writing computer graphics, and going on Caribbean cruises.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing.
Private interment will be in West Finley Cemetery.
