Billie Mae Klinzing

Billie Mae Klinzing, 82, of Prosperity, died Monday, January 23, 2023, in the Washington Hospital.

She was born June 22, 1940, in Grapeville, a daughter of the late William and Anna Mae Leasure McCready.

Billie Mae was a full-time mother and wife.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

On October 26, 1962, she married William A. Klinzing, Jr., who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, William A. Klinzing III of Shinglehouse, Richard G. (Billie) Klinzing of Massillon, Ohio, and Timothy A. (Betty) Klinzing of Prosperity; a brother, George McCready of South Carolina; three sisters, Ellen Locke of Jeannette, Martha Uncapher and Laura (Danny) Lunn, both of Irwin; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces, and nephews.

Deceased are a brother, Doc McCready; and two sisters, Vivian Pratt and Rita Kindleberg.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Friday, January 27, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 525 Fairway Street, Washington, PA 15301. All other services are private. Arrangements are entrusted to Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Directors, Inc., Charles R. Piatt, owner/supervisor, Andrew C. Piatt, director.
