Jerry L. Eaton, 63, of Crucible, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023, in Uniontown Hospital.
He was born September 8, 1959, in Waynesburg, a son of the late David and Lois Virgin Eaton.
Mr. Eaton was a graduate of Jefferson High School.
He was employed as an underground coal miner, working in Bailey, Enlow Fork and Shannopin mines, retiring with over 20 years of service.
Jerry was a member of the U.M.W.A.
He enjoyed walking, nature, kayaking, fishing and growing tomatoes. He especially enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and grandkids.
On March 30, 1994, he married Patricia Jacobs Eaton, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Brittney Eaton of Waynesburg, David Eaton of Crucible and Grace Eaton (Alex Kerr) of Carmichaels; five grandchildren; two brothers, David Eaton (Martha) of Elyria, Ohio and Robert “Tubby” Eaton of Braden.
All services are private and under the direction of the Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., Fredericktown location, 42 Bank Street, Fredericktown.
