Roger Alan Asti, a loving husband, father, and grandfather of Weirton, passed away suddenly at home on the morning of Tuesday, June 27, 2023, he was 70.
He was born on February 24, 1953, in Canonsburg, one of three children born to the late Albo and Helen Kostelich Asti.
Roger was a member of the 1971 graduating class of Burgettstown High School. He began work as a machinist at Weirton Steel and retired as a mechanical supervisor.
He and his wife Regina owned and operated for many years Lasting Images, a photo and videography company. Roger was a true family man, a simple man who would not hesitate to show his love and expertise to anyone, especially his family. He had a very special relationship with his granddaughters, Lidia, and Laurel, they were the “Sweethearts of his Life!”
He will be sadly missed by his loving and endearing family and friends.
Left to cherish his loving memory fondly is his wife Regina Leggett Asti of 51 years whom he married on September 16, 1972; children, Sarah Asti, and her companion Brandon Green of Poland, Ohio, and David (Lisa) Asti of Charles Town, WV.; granddaughters, Lidia and Laurel Asti; sister, Debra (Robert) Davis of Eldersille; and brother, Kenneth (Wendy) Asti of Cartersville, GA.
A memorial service for Roger will be scheduled at the convenience of his family.
