Scott Logan Sutton
Scott “Scotty” Logan Sutton, 27, of Fredericktown (Deemston Borough), passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023, after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Jeannette, a son of Jon M. and Pam Tomasevich Sutton of Scenery Hill, who survive.
Scott was a 2015 graduate of Bentworth High School.
He was previously employed as a heavy equipment operator at Alton Industries and was currently employed as a laborer at Northern Pipeline Construction, where he was proud to belong to the laborer’s Union Local #1058.
On October 16, 2021 he married Amanda Cole Sutton, who survives.
As Amanda’s sidekick, Scotty was very active in agriculture. He cherished her and would do anything for his wife.
He was a member of Ellsworth Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed the outdoors including: hunting, fishing, cutting grass and weed whacking. He also enjoyed watching sports. He was very strong and helpful to everyone. Scotty loved Volkswagen Beetles and playing video games with his nephew, Trevor and his many friends.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and parents; are four siblings, Ben Sutton (Deb) of Bentleyville, Abby Schoedel (Sean) of Brownsville, Sara Mox (Robbie Martin) of Washington and Nicholas Sutton of Scenery Hill; mother-in-law, Kay “Mama Kay” Cole of Bentleyville, and father-in-law, Joseph Cole, also of Bentleyville; sister-in-law, Jessica Cole of Houston; many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews; many friends, especially his close farming and gaming friends.
Deceased are his grandparents, Jon T. and Gladys Sutton and George and Helen Tomasevich.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, in the Greenlee’s Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023, with Pastor Paul Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Mrs. Claus Club, 56 Lanik Road, Bentleyville, PA 15314, and as blood donation was crucial to Scotty’s care, the family asks that you please donate if you are able.
