Kenneth Lewis Lindley, Sr.
Kenneth Lewis Lindley, Sr., 80, of Washington, died on Friday, June 30, 2023, in Washington Hospital.
He was born on January 16, 1943, in Washington, a son of the late Kenneth Lee and Teresa Munchie Lindley.
Kenneth was a graduate of Trinity High School.
A hardworking man, Mr. Lindley worked for 30 years as a steelworker for Jessop Steel.
He loved the outdoors, especially golfing, fishing, hunting, camping and mowing the lawn at his cabin. He also enjoyed bowling.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth (Gina) Lindley, Jr.; a daughter, Lisa (Dave) Myers; a brother, Don (Janet) Lindley; two sisters, Garnet (Chester) Charnesky and Sandy (Mark) Carr; six grandchildren, Dawn (Tim) Anderson, Kala Lindley Davidson, Kili (Laramie) Lindley, KC (Hannah) Lindley, Megan Lindley, and Devon Myers; four great- grandchildren, Nicholas Lindley, Drew Anderson, Jaxon Davidson, and Emmett Lippencott; an aunt, Shirley DeAngelis; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a daughter, Teresa Lindley Popham; and a sister, Patty Rugg.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, July 6, 2023, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2023.
Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
