Barbara Elizabeth Woleslagle
Barbara Elizabeth “Barb” Woleslagle, 84, of Washington, died Sunday, July 9, 2023, in Washington Hospital.
She was born January 31, 1939, a daughter of the late James and Alice Vargo Kita.
A graduate of Trinity High School, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Barb loved helping others, as evidenced in her work as a nurse’s aide.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, coloring and shopping.
Surviving are four children, Vincent (Loretta) Woleslagle, Stacey (JR) Adams, Curtis (Tammy) Woleslagle, and Marge (Rick) Grace; two sisters, Alice Thomas and Helen (Bob) Kazlauski; five grandchildren, Dylan Woleslagle, Abigail Verner, Nicole Shaffer, Jennifer McCarthy and Rick Grace, Jr.; seven great- grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Riley, Camron, Taylor, Mara, Morgan and Gunner; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three brothers, Joe Kita, James Kita and Stephen Kita.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 13, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, July 14, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Burial will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
