Jan M. Knisely, 49, of Fredericktown, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 24, 2023, in UPMC-Kane.
He was born October 24, 1973, in Washington, a son of William and Susan Hermann Knisely.
Jan loved spending time at his camp with special friends outside of Kane.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Lauren Knisely of Washington; two brothers, William and Christopher (Elizabeth) Knisely; and niece, Sarah (Troy) Frazier, all of Washington; an aunt, Diane (Bill) Evans of Wakeman, Ohio; and several cousins.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Laura and William Knisely, and Lena and Herbert Hermann; and an aunt, Linda Glasser.
Memorial contributions can be made to a trust fund that will be set up at a later date for his daughter, Lauren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
