Harlan H. Hensley, Jr.
Harlan H. Hensley Jr., 86, of Marianna, formerly of Finleyville, died Thursday, July 27, 2023, in Paramount Senior Living, in McMurray.
He was born July 21, 1937, in West Chester, a son of the late Harlan Hensley, Sr. and Zelma Parks.
Harlan retired from Washington Hospital, where he worked as a respiratory therapist. He was a faithful attender of Library Baptist Church in Finleyville and enjoyed going to auctions, but his greatest joys in life were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Surviving are three sons, Dale (Christine) Hensley and Duane (Connie) Hensley of Marianna, and Wade (Ivia) Hensley of Uniontown; one daughter, Susan (Michael) Rogers of McMurray; five grandchildren: Derek, Tyler, Nick, Brandon and Liam; six great-grandchildren: Addi, Carter, Beau, Zoey, Cole and Chase; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are his wife, Trudy Hensley; one sister, Zelma Kay Large; and step-mother, Mary Hensley.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., David P. Kegel, Supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, in Library Baptist Church, 81 Walter Long Road, Finleyville. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in Finleyville Cemetery.
