Carolyn Lee Emery
Carolyn Lee Emery, 74, of Eighty Four, died Friday, March 17, 2023, in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born April 2, 1948, in Washington, a daughter of Charles “Bob” and Dorothy Parsons Gratz.
Carolyn was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed oil painting, crafts and especially spending time with her family.
On December 6, 1969, she married her loving husband of over 53 years, James Charles “Charlie” Emery, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are her sons, James Charles (Mandee) Emery III and Tyler (Alexis Gorgacz) Emery; and her daughter, Michelle Emery, all of Eighty Four; her brother, Donald Gratz, of Washington; sister, Debi (Ray) Marshall, of Washington; four grandchildren, Aliyah Leigh, Nyla James, Lydia Eden and Avryl Grace; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Gratz.
Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2023, at Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
