Mary Weckoski, 94, of Coal Center, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Dunlevy Gardens.

Born on October 27, 1928, in Bentleyville, a daughter of Thomas and Anna Kois Padovich Sr. Mary was the last of her immediate family.

On October 4, 1947, she married Albert Weckoski, who passed away in 2016. Together they shared 69 years of marriage.

Mary enjoyed gardening, making many varieties of cookies during the Christmas season, and was very skilled in sewing. She also was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Mary is survived by three daughters, Linda (Stephen) Crow, of Overland Park, Kansas, Joyce (Gus) Illar, of Austin, Texas and Emily Rhoads of Charleroi; three grandchildren, Lindsey (Jay) Holbert, Stephanie (John) Carter and Monica (Steve) Adams; and three great-grandchildren, Chase Holbert, Sophie Carter and Emma Holbert.

In addition to her husband, Mary was also preceded in death by four brothers, Nick, George, Thomas and Frank Padovich; and a sister, Anna Krencik.

Per Mary’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Leonard M. Pavlic Funeral Homes, Inc., 235 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi.
