Beverlyann R. Hofrichter

Beverlyann R.Hofrichter, 86, of Avella, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023, in Paramount Assisted Living, Canonsburg.

She was born on July 30, 1936, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Francis and Dorothy Taposcia Migliorino.

She was a 1954 graduate of Saint Rosalia High School, in Greenfield, and attended Allegheny General School of Nursing to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked as a LPN at Magee-Womens Hospital and Allegheny General Hospital. She then worked at the Washington County Health Center for 30 years.

Beverly had lived in Avella since 1962 and was a member of Saint Isidore the Farmer Parish (formerly Saint Michael Parish) of Avella, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and member of the Christian Mothers. Before living in Avella she was a member of Holy Angels Church in Hays, and was a member of their Christian Mothers organization. She was a member of the Elks Lodge #776 of Washington and a volunteer at the Avella Public Library and the Washington Public Library.

Beverly loved spending time with her daughters and sons. She cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to make everyday life and holidays special. Beverly enjoyed cooking, reading and traveling.

On February 7, 1959, in Holy Angels Church in Hays, she married Fred Hofrichter Sr., who passed away on May 12, 2019.

Surviving are twin daughters, Lora (Jeff) Pavkovich of Avella and Linda (Jeff) Roberts of Waynesburg; two sons, Fred (Deann) Hofrichter Jr. of Carmichaels and Edward (Debbie) Hofrichter of Vista, Calif.; 14 grandchildren: Danielle (Rob) Byrnes, Alexandria (Justin) Bush, Philip (Megan) Matijevich, Samantha (Jason) Ramsay, Nichole (John) Morecraft, Jordan (Jaclyn) Matijevich, Racheal (Brian) Clause, Fred Paul Hofrichter, Derick (Alyssa) Matijevich, Desiray (Mike) Spavelko, Colton (fiancee Alyssa), Logan, Luke and Mason Hofrichter; 14 great-grandchildren: Aiden, Isabel, Brynlee, Zackary, Ophelia, Olivia, Haylee, Brooks, Ella, Ethan, Avery, Sarah, Hallie and Connor; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Milorino.

Deceased, in addition to her husband of 60 years, and parents, is a brother, Frank Milorino.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, in the Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home, Inc., 18 Campbell Street, Avella, PA 15312. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 17, in Saint Michael Church, 97 Highland Avenue, Avella, with Reverend Zachary Galiyas officiating.

Burial will be in Saint Michael Cemetery, Avella.
