Charles Deems Jr., 83, of Bentleyville, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, in Select Specialty Hospital, McKeesport.
He was born November 11, 1939, in Sandy Creek, a son of the late George and Edna Grimm Deems.
Mr. Deems was employed for many years at Chemply in Bunola, and was later employed as a security guard at the Washington Business Bureau.
He was Baptist by faith and was also a member of the Independent Club in Bentleyville.
Charles enjoyed motorcycling, NASCAR, hunting and fishing.
On June 23, 1961, he married Mary Anne Seman Deems, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Randy Deems of Bentleyville and Kevin Deems of Finleyville; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patty Deems of Texas and Luella Sharp of Bentleyville; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents are a son, Charles Deems; a granddaughter, Ashley Deems; and a brother, Richard Deems.
Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in Greenlee’s Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, PA 15314. Interment will be private.
