Mark R. Temple
Mark R. Temple, 63, of West Middletown, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023, in Pittsburgh VA Medical Center-University Drive Campus.
He was born December 27, 1959, in Washington, a son of the late John R. “Jiggs” Temple and Marjorie J. Bednarski Temple.
Mark was a 1978 graduate of Avella High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for Alex E. Paris Contracting Co. Inc. of Atlasburg for 37 years.
Mark was a member of Grove United Presbyterian Church, Bert C. Siders American Legion Post 643 of Avella, and the Avella Sportsmen’s Club.
He loved fishing, riding his Harley and spending time with his family, especially his sons.
Surviving are two sons, Jonathan Temple of Rockwood, and Benjamin Temple and fiancee Nikki Bezusko of Hickory; a grandchild, Adilyn Temple; three brothers, Pete (Susan) Temple, Paul (Jackie) Temple and Eric Temple, all of West Middletown; nieces, Jenna and Amanda; and nephews, Alex and Jake.
