Bettie J. Spiers 74, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

She was born July 6, 1948, in Washington, a daughter of the late Warden Lisle and Annetta Degelman Spiers.

Ms. Spiers worked as a Nurse’s Aide at McMurray Hills Manor, a Food Service worker at the former Western Center for 21 years and later as a food demonstrator at Sam’s Club for 7 years.

Ms. Spiers loved the Lord. She enjoyed social interaction, anything in the kitchen, cooking and baking, also crocheting and adult coloring books.

Left to cherish her memory are her caregivers, Harry and Stephanie Wood and Joseph Jankowski Jr. with whom she made her home and Michael and Kim Brown of Houston; a cousins, Barbara “Bee” Spiers, and Charles Herttner and wife Kathy; and friends Claudia Adams and her son David Patterson.

A sister, Lois Gallo is deceased.

At Bettie’s request, there will be no services or visitation.
