Rose Holik
Rose Holik, 87, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully, Friday morning, September 29, 2023.
She was born August 6, 1936, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Patsy and Mary Valentic Ranalli.
Mrs. Holik was a homemaker, and over the years she cared for the elderly. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting, crafting and decorating, especially for Christmas.
Rose had been a member of the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church for many years.
In June of 1957, she married Andrew W. Holik, who passed away on November 13, 1983.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her devoted son, Jerry L. (Desirae) Holik of Merced, California; her twin sister, Shirley A. Zavallo of Canonsburg, sister, Adeline Thifault of Anaheim, California; two granddaughters; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, is her son Andrew W. Holik Jr., who passed away March 15, 2019.
Friends and family are welcome from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2023, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD, owner/supervisor, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
