Thomas H. Moore
Thomas H. Moore, 71, of Dilliner, died September 29, 2023, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
Tom was born May 5, 1952, in Albright, W.Va., a son of the late William Elmer and Dorothy Wilhelm Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Lou Baker Moore; children, Ryan Moore, Heath and Keith Bair, Dorothy Moore (Eugene), and Janice Turner (Brent); a sister, Willa Strahin; three stepchildren, Sara Mahoney, Vickie Zack, and Lewis Palmer; as well as many grand and great- grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles; three brothers, Edward, Jim, Bill; and a sister, Darlene Miller.
Tom worked as an equipment operator at various area coal mines, including the Bobtown mine. He loved to hunt and watch WWE wrestling.
Tom was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and will be greatly missed.
Family and friends will be welcomed from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, and from 12 to 1 p.m., the time of a funeral service, Wednesday, October 4, in the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320 (724-966-5100), Paul M. Lesako, owner / supervisor. Burial will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery.
