Leroy N. Bauduin
Leroy N. Bauduin, 73, of Avella, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 3, 2023, in Washington Hospital Emergency Department.
He was born on February 23, 1950, in Avella, son of the late August Gustave and Frieda Marie Holloway Bauduin.
Leroy enlisted in the Army in 1967 and was honorably discharged in 1971. He served with Expeditionary Forces during Vietnam era.
He was retired from Philips Lighting Corporation.
Leroy was a member of Bert C. Siders American Legion Post 643 of Avella, American Legion Riders Chapter 639 of Claysville, Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW Post 6553 of Slovan and Avella Sportsmen Club.
Surviving Mr. Bauduin are a daughter, Rachel (Ron) Baloga; a son, Lee N. Bauduin; three grandchildren, Kari, Kristie and Zach; his companion of 36 years, with whom he made his home, Holly M. Rankin; three brothers and three sisters.
A private burial will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
