Patricia A. Brennan

Patricia A. Brennan, 68, of Washington, died Wednesday, September 26, 2023, in her home in Plum.

She was born August 1, 1955, in Washington, the first and only daughter of the late Louis D. And Anna Pignanelli Loungo.

Miss. Brennan was a graduate of Washington High School and the Western PA Hospital School of Nursing. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from La Roche College and a Master’s degree in Public Management from Carnegie Mellon University.

She was a devout Christian and member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Verona.

Miss. Brennan was employed as an operating room nurse at Children’s Hospital working in the neuro wing for a long time before going to Carnegie Mellon as a R.N. She eventually ended up in online medical care and retired in 2021.

She enjoyed music and sports avidly. She owned and played many instruments. The only greater passion she had was for family. Baseball was her favorite and the player that had her heart was Roberto Clemente. Her son, Patrick Brennan and brother, Emil Luongo were very close with her.

Surviving are her son, Patrick Brennan; and brother, Ronald Loungo.

There will be no public visitation. Friends and family are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 12, in St. Benedict the Abbot Church, St. John XXIII Parish, 120 Abington Drive, McMurray, PA 15317. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Peters Township.
