Violet Ruth Sifinski Azman
Violet Ruth Sifinski Azman passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023. She was born June 23, 1939, in Canonsburg Hospital. She was the wife of Robert Azman, formerly of Meadowlands. They resided in Washington.
Surviving Violet are her children, Stacey Snyder (Marvin) of Mount Pleasant, Shelley Conroy (Thomas) of Scenery Hill, and Jaison Azman (Amanda) of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Amanda Andredas (Craig), Zachary Snyder (Kayla), Jeremy Conroy (Michala), Andrew Snyder (Sammantha), Marshall Azman and Raegan Azman; great- grandchildren, Karson and Hadley Snyder, Carinna and Caleb Andredas, Syrus, Aysa, Symarra, Cylais and Xylena Snyder. Violet is also survived by several cousins, including Shirley Pratten and Ed Sifinski; lifelong friends, Anna Mae Jennings, Carole Burrows and Daralyn Campbell.
A brother, Jack, passed away in infancy.
Violet graduated from Canonsburg High School, Class of 1957, and was active in the Student Council and served as president. She enjoyed playing cards and bowling and also enjoyed doing word puzzles. She was active in Democrat politics for many years. Violet spent most of her working years in the credit and collections field.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., the time of a memorial service, Monday, October 16, in Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray.
