Carol Mae Paul
Carol Mae Paul, 82, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, October 13, 2023.
Carol was born to the late Emory and Minerva Cline on August 18, 1941 in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
She is survived by three sisters and one brother: Joanne Fauley, Margret Cesario, Betty DeVault, and Bob Cline. She is preceded in death by one sister and one brother: Leora Blankenship and Tom Cline.
On July 25, 1962, Carol married the love of her life, Grayson Marshall Paul, who survives. Together they raised four children: Sonya (Doug) Patterson, Jeffery Paul, Michael (Kelly) Paul, and Eric (Darla) Paul.
Carol was a homemaker. She loved to cook and bake, with pizza and pies being some of her specialties. Carol was a devoted Christian and a member of the Marianna United Methodist Church for most of her life. She spent numerous years helping run summer Bible camps, cooking for church dinners, and actively giving back in her community.
Carol was blessed with 10 grandchildren: Survived by Tiffany, Andrew, Amanda, Kylee, Douglas, Zachary, Jeremy, and Shyanne Preceded in death by Micheal and Trisha, and 13 great-grandchildren: Madalyn, Malachi, Waylon, Alivia, Charlee, Layken, Carter, Oliver, Mason, Laila, Lily, Voilet, and Emmett.
Carol also had numerous nieces, nephews, and friends that were so dear to her heart.
Carol enjoyed playing cards, Yahtzee, and board games. She loved watching game shows, Steelers football, and rodeo.
Carol lived a long-full life and will be missed terribly.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 18 in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, PA 15313 where Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 19 at 12 p.m. with Rev. Gary Gregg officiating. Interment will be private.
