Darryl E. McFarland
Darryl E. McFarland, 85, of Houston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 19, 2023, surrounded by his family.
Born on June 27, 1938, he was the son of the late Frank McFarland and Nellie Owens.
Loving husband of 63 years to Charlotte McFarland. Proud father of Kevin (Sherry) McFarland, Robin (Debbie) McFarland, Lane (Lisa) McFarland and Rhonda (Michael) Reed. Cherished grandfather to Alissa, Shawn, Lane, Kendel, Shannon, Connor, Lexie and Scott. Beloved great-grandfather of seven; dear brother of Darlene, Kenny, Mick, Connie, Kathy and Ed. Darryl is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Darryl was preceded in death by his grandson, Tanner McFarland; and his three brothers: Larry, Dale and Randy.
Anyone who knew Darryl knew his family was most important to him, and he had a true passion for collecting coins and cartridges.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Darryl’s name.
At the family’s request all services will be private. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
